Montreal’s Best-Kept Secret

Montreal’s Best-Kept Secret

At first glance, Montreal Plaza appears to be a classic Montreal restaurant, but on closer inspection, you immediately become aware that your night may take a turn towards the unexpected.

At first glance, Montreal Plaza appears to be a classic Montreal restaurant, but on closer inspection, you immediately become aware that your night may take a turn towards the unexpected.

The decor of Montreal Plaza is unique, to say the least. from a toolshed moonlighting as a centrepiece, a botanist section, a glass display with a sand village and grandfather clock and a completely open kitchen, diners are in for an electric experience, both visually and in taste!

The interior is modern and rustic in design and leaves no space untouched. there is even a private dining section, where two diners can have a unique experience, completely surrounded by an abundance of plants.

It doesn’t stop there. The night's entertainment comes none other than from the staff! From various shows, music selections for your special occasions and more, the staff at Montreal Plaza are both engaging and entertaining.

The menu is a vision created by Chef Charles Antoine Crête, who is known as one of Quebec's top chefs. It comes as no surprise since he first started working in the restaurant industry at the age of 11. The vision behind Montreal Plaza was to create something for everyone, and that is exactly what Chef Crête has done!

If you are a seafood lover, we recommend trying the seafood risotto. In our opinion, it is probably one of the best we have ever tasted.

If you are looking for something out of the ordinary, then we suggest trying the tomato shrimp burger. With a bun made of tomato and a burger made of shrimp, this dish is something you have never tasted before.

For pasta lovers, the blueberry ricotta ravioli is jam-packed with flavour and our pasta of choice at Montreal Plaza.

Make sure you leave room for dessert because the selection at Montreal Plaza will have one who is “full” suddenly finding room to eat more!

For wine, cocktails and liquor, Montreal Plaza has a great selection to choose from. If you are looking for beer on tap, they have that too!

Because of Chef Crête’s success, Montreal Plaza is always full. Our tip? Book months in advance for your dining experience and be aware that parking is limited because (no surprise) there is almost always construction.
