A Culinary Oasis Located in the Heart of Griffintown

Nestled between the bustling streets of Griffintown, where the city meets the river, is one of Montreal’s newest culinary sensations that has everyone paying attention – and for good reason.

Nestled between the bustling streets of Griffintown, where the city meets the river, is one of Montreal’s newest culinary sensations that has everyone paying attention – and for good reason.

As you walk into Palma, you immediately feel as though you have been transported to the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. From the lush greenery complimented with subtle hues of gold and wood throughout the restaurant, Palma offers its guests a taste of the Mediterranean lifestyle without leaving Montréal.

As aesthetically pleasing as the restaurant's décor is, nothing can prepare you for the culinary experience ahead, prepared by the one and only, Master Chef Tan. Known for his unparalleled ability to combine Asian and new American cuisine, Chef Tan’s menu at Palma does not fail to impress.

The menu at Palma offers something for everyone. From an extensive raw bar menu, signature sushi rolls, a variety of prime cut meats and sides to meet everyone's tastes. There are gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options as well.

Their signature roll, the Palma, contains wagyu, spicy snow crab, shrimp tempura and truffle aioli. The best part? It's torched at your table! Whether on a first date or out with friends, we highly recommend you try this roll.

If you are a seafood aficionado, then be sure to try the seafood tower. It includes 4 tiger prawns, 12 oysters, a whole lobster, a variety of sashimi and several sushi rolls – well worth its price!

For all the Udon Noodle lovers, we suggest the Truffle Mushroom, a gluten free, vegetarian and vegan option or for all our meat lovers, the Short Rib Udon, which is braised for over 6 hours.

When it comes to pairing wine or beverages with your meal, again Palma does not disappoint. They have an extensive wine list and one of the most creative cocktail lists we have seen to date!

For the Tequila lovers (we see you Montréal) be sure to try Easy Money, a beautiful blend of Patron Silver, Mezcal, Cointreau, Chili, Lime and Ube.

If you have a sweet tooth (like we do) then be sure to try the Key Lime Tart or the Palma Banana Split.

For all our night owls, Palma offers a live DJ and bottle service. From Champagne, Premium Vodka to some of the rarest Tequila’s on the market today, the bottle service menu is well priced and loaded with options to cater to everyone’s alcohol preferences.

All in all, our experience at Palma was one for the books. But the question remains, have we convinced you to try Palma? We hope so! We will definitely be going there again (and again!)

A tip? Book in advance. Palma is open from Wednesday to Sunday, but with limited space and being in high demand, reservations go quickly. You can book directly on their website or by calling them.
