Take a Trip to Lebanon For The Night

The first thing that hits you walking into restaurant Shay is inevitably the scent of Middle Eastern cuisine, if it doesn’t knock you off your feet, then the overall ambiance and live music certainly will.

The first thing that hits you walking into restaurant Shay is inevitably the scent of Middle Eastern cuisine, if it doesn’t knock you off your feet, then the overall ambiance and live music certainly will.

Restaurant Shay boasts a sleek design and expertly crafted lighting to provide its guests with a warm and modest atmosphere. The backdrop acoustics are perfectly tailored to create an intimate dining experience that doesn’t overpower the conversation.

Chef Joe Awad and his team have created a gastronomic sensation, mixing traditional Middle Eastern flavours with a modern twist.

The food at the restaurant Shay steals the show. The Babaghanouj is packed with flavour. Unlike traditional tuna tartar, Chef Awad inspires his with various spices of the Middle East.
The octopus salad is to die for, a delicate mix of fingerling, burnt orange, celery and tarragon.

Kibbe Naye, a traditional Lebanese dish very similar to beef tartare is a show stopper. We highly recommend you order it!

For mains, the Mashewe, a mixed grill platter which serves 2-4 people is a must-have. Served on a large board, you’ll find lamb chops, steak, chicken kebabs and a variety of vegetables seared to perfection.

We love a good espresso martini, and restaurant Shay does not disappoint! If hard alcohol is not your thing, restaurant Shay has a decadent wine list that will pair well with everything on the menu.

If we haven’t convinced you to try restaurant Shay for dinner, then why not try it for brunch? On Sundays, restaurant Shay opens its doors to guests for their Sunday Brunch Special.

Once again, Chef Awad does an incredible job of incorporating traditional Middle Eastern cuisine with a modern flare. Who said you can’t have Fried Shish Takouk with Waffles?!

For reservations for brunch or supper, you can book online on Shay’s website, or call the restaurant directly. Bon Appetit!
